Faraday Laptop Sleeve

DESCRIPTION

The Faraday Laptop Sleeve takes your laptop offline without shutting anything down. Slide it in, keep it completely below the magnetic closure and let the flap seal. While it's sealed inside, the sleeve blocks cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS signals to and from the laptop. Take it out and it reconnects as usual. The sleeve handles the wireless side. Strong passwords and updates still handle the rest. Same slim, discreet look, so it goes wherever your laptop goes.

Will my laptop fit?

Measure your laptop closed, with any case or cover on: length, width and thickness. Each number should be smaller than the Internal Use dimensions for your size. The laptop also has to sit completely below the magnetic closure so the flap can seal. If it's close, size up. Screen size alone won't tell you, because two laptops with the same screen can have very different footprints and thickness.

FARADAY TECHNOLOGY

The main compartment is a Silent Pocket® Faraday cage lined with Multishield® Faraday shielding material. The lab results below are for that material, tested by Keystone Compliance, an independent test lab. They are not a test of the finished sleeve.

• MIL-STD-188-125-2, 10 kHz to 1 GHz: double- and triple-layer Multishield® samples were reported compliant (Report 2106-125EB, 2021).
• IEEE 299-2006 method, 1 to 40 GHz: a single layer of Multishield® measured 79.8 to 94.9 dB of shielding effectiveness (Report 2203-117EB-2, 2022).
